Proxomitron

With Wine installed, I could use many of the best apps that were out of bounds because an equivalent was not available in Linux.
Proxomitron was one of them. While Privoxy is rated highly among ad blocking proxy servers for Linux, it does not offer the ease of use and configuration that Proxomitron does.
All that was needed to run Proxomitron, was to right click on the executable and use the Run with Wine option. Since it did not have an installation routine, I had apprehensions on how it would run under Wine. But, they were unfounded.
