Sabayon vi sabotage

While I have stated, repeatedly, that vi offers the only hope when the dark ages of the command prompt are confronted, Sabayon proved me wrong.
The heartless Sabayon takes away even the little ray of hope that vi is. So if dumped at the command prompt, when using Sabayon, you need "nano". I chanced upon nano accidentally, I tried out pico, vim, emac, emacs and was considering the arrogance of Sabayon in their inability to add even a basic editor.
nano happenned by fluke, being from the same naming retarted family as pico. But, the naming irrelevance aside, it offers greater ease of use than vi, much greater. For one there is a list of commands that can be used, which is a god send. The rest is easy. I need to check if nano is available in other distros as well.

Another instance of Sabayon playing truant is the absence of the XFdrake command. I recall that I had used this command to gain some hope when I was dumped at the console after a system switch. In Sabayon this command does not exist
