Distro choice

Here I have listed a few criteria that need to be considered before selecting a distro. Probably I shall create a chart to compare the distros across these features.

1. Ease of switch as Root. PCLinux offers a context menu option that reads "Edit as Root", in Mandriva 08, I can't login as root from the normal login screen, there is not Root terminal, there is no root mode file manager, and the context menu seen in PCL is missing.

3. Mounting/Accessing other partitions graphically.
4. Command line editors - nano beats vi
5. Openoffice
6. Wine
7. Repository management - adding and removing offline or online repos.
8. Acess to control panels
9. Autologin any user.
